Ok on a UK keyboard it's actually Cmd+Tab to cycle between applications. Why I did not think of this in my first post I don't know. I don't use it all that much so I guess I forgot!

Hi, I'm still on Eagle 6 (windows) and have now downloaded a 9.0 trial version for MAC. As I'm very used of switching between windows (schematics, control panel, layout) with ALT+TAB – How to do this with the MAC version? Right now, nothing happens with ALT+TAB, there must be a way (shortcut) to not get forced to click in the Window menu to switch windows on the mac version. Thanks for help.

Pick the one you want to switch to.

3) Use the ASSIGN command to setup shortcuts on a key in the sch/brd such that in the sch it issues an "edit .brd" command and in the brd it issues an "edit .sch" command.

Best Regards,

Rachael

You can cycle between the windows in a Mac application using Command-` (back-tick), if they're not full screen. If they're full screen, Rachael's suggestions might help.

Thanks for the reply! As I currently don't use swipe on my computer (don't know what that is) then the way now is to use ASSIGN Key Commands. Problem, though, could be it's many more "simple" ones (like ctrl+click to snap to grid) which I can't find in the MAC version… What do I do wrong?

Thanks, yes I know "ctrl" in windows many times is replaced by "command" in MAC, but in Eagle it's not. Or?

My U.S. keyboard has the back-tick (`) on the same key as the tile (~). It might be different on other keyboard layouts. Command+` is a standard Mac shortcut for cycling between (non-full screen) windows in an application and should work in EAGLE.

I think the way for me is to use CMD+arrow (to the right of the left SHIFT key) – maybe it's called back tick?… Sorry if I ask about this again now, but why not use CMD+TAB if ALT+TAB doesn't work? Or is this because of different keyboard languages?
