Please Undo The Display Window!

Several times over the years, I have been zoomed in at a portion of the schematic or board and hit one to many "undo" commands - causing something off screen to undo. Needless to say, the inability to see what was edited off screen (or even not knowing that I hit one undo too many) has cost me a great deal of time and money. So how about fixing this by doing what AutoCAD has done for years and back up through the previous zooms and windows as the "undo" command is executed? That way, we would always be able to observe what we undid?
