Hi @Anonymous,

I hope you're doing well. I encourage you to update to 9.2.2 at your earliest convenience since the clear separation between user space and examples should solve this. Also, make sure that your design files are not saved in EAGLE's installation directory since that will create issues.

Please let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Best Regards,

Hi Autodesk

I'm running Eagle 9.0.0 and trying to import a DXF file into the board editor. But i'm getting the following messages, I've moved the ULP and SCR folders off the c drive and changed where Eagle looks for them in Options>Directories but I'm still getting the same messages. There definitely isn't a dxfimp.scr file in the scr folder. Can anyone help?

Hi Jorge, I have installed the latest version of Eagle 9.5.2 and I am getting the same error message. Any advice with regards to importing DXF's into a new board created inside of a project folder?

Can't find 'C:\Users\xxx\Documents\EAGLE\projects\xxx\dxfimp.scr'

ps. I noticed that the DXF IMPORT function works if you do not have the project selected. Just normal without a project, but it does not pick up the layers that you have exported with in the first place.

Please bear with me as I am a newbie to Eagle: this is what I was trying to do:

I have exported a board from Eagle to a DXF. When you open the DXF all the layers show, but then if you try and import it back again, the layers are lost and it just comes in on a dimension layer.

We are sitting with a whole bunch of old Tango pcb files at the office and I figured out that if I use P-CAD and save it as a PCB with ASCII, then I can eventually import the board to Eagle, but I am still trying to figure out how to make changes to tracks and copper pour etc. We specialise mostly in Antenna RF Boards, so we do not really use schematics at this stage. If you could suggest any lessons at where to start in board design, it would be greatly appreciated.
