Eagle PCB Nags for Upgrade.

I have a licenced version of Eagle pcb 6.5.

I keep getting nagged to upgrade to version 9.x which I dont want to do.

How do I turn off the nag screen ?

Sure I posted this same message last week but I cannot see it on the forums.

Hi @Anonymous,

I hope you're doing well. When the screen pops up click on Configure... In the dialog that pops up click Never and then click OK. At this point you will no longer be notified of updates to newer versions of EAGLE.

I do encourage you to check out the features in the newer versions of EAGLE, you'll likely find that the improvements in productivity merit the update if not, then you don't have the upgrade screen anymore.

OK, thanks for the reply. I will try that the next time the message pops up.

As for the upgraded versions, does my Eagle 6 licence (which I need as I sell a few boards) cover me for commercial use of the newer vesions ?

Hi @Anonymous,

I hope you're doing well. The version 6 license you have is only good up to V6.6. The newer versions of EAGLE require a subscription for commercial use. Keep in mind that you can subscribe for a little as 1 month so the cost of entry is very low. That's a good option if you only use EAGLE infrequently.
