Hi Rachel, I created a manged library and these are just the default box parts and placement. I know it's really bizarre behavior.

If you look at the library parts in the 3D package editor are they sitting correctly on the pads there? Often when you first import STEP files they don't come in aligned correctly to the pads and need some adjusting. I use the EAGLE/Fusion 360 integration loads these days and have never had parts offset from the pads in this way. They don't look like they are all offset from the pads the same amount so it doesn't look like anything has got detached and moved within Fusion 360 which is why I suspect they aren't correct in the libraries themselves.

Best Regards,

Would the fact this board is setup as 4 layers have anything to do with this issue? I noticed even in the manufacturing window all 4 layers are not present?

No, all my boards are 4 or more layers and this has never been an issue for me.

@rg.jones wrote:

The manufacturing window only shows the view of the board you can see, it doesn't show inner layers.

Hi @rg.jones,

From your snapshot I guess the issue is the board image was shrunk incorrectly. Some reasons I know could be:

1) Some elements are put on the dimension/place/ layers but they should not be.

2) Some part has elements on dimension layer. This could make Fusion confused when computing the size of the image. This is a known issue and we are looking at it.

Can you check if your design has either of the two cases?

Richard
