topic How to rotate by 11.25 degrees? in EAGLE Forum

I need to rotate a part by precisely 11.25 degrees. Whatever I do (rotate command, part properties), Eagle rounds it either to 11.3 or 11.2 degrees. One of the reasons for such high precision is a high symmetry requirements. The other reason is rotating a group by 11.25 degrees several times to spread groups evenly. After 8 rotations it should become 90 degrees, but it does not.

Hi @Anonymous,

I hope you're doing well. You are correct it seems this is a limitation of the current implementation in EAGLE. I'll file and enhancement report for this.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Best Regards,
