Right, so my next question would be, what components are you using? Are they components which have a footprints or were they pulled from a library which doesn't have footprints, such as a simulation library? If you right click on one of your components in the schematics and look at the properties, does it list a footprint there? It should do. Are you able to share the sch/brd files here? You might need to zip them up to attach them to the forum.

No matter what I seem to do or troubleshoot, I absolutely cannot get the schematic file to actually place the components on the board. I've run the ERC and DRC tests, double checked the library pathways, and still it will not load. It says the two files are in sync, so this doesn't seem to be the problem. This is my first time using EAGLE so please be as descriptive as possible throughout your explanations and proposed solutions.

Can you be a little more explicit as to what you are expecting EAGLE to be doing here? From how you've worded this it seems like you are expecting components in the schematic to automatically be placed within the board? If so that is not how it works.

What EAGLE does, when a new component is added in the schematic, it adds the PCB footprint for the component off-board in the lower left quadrant. You then have to move it into the actual board area where you want it to be yourself.

The other thing you could be meaning is that you are unable to move the components and place them on the PCB once they appear? If so, what license do you have, if not the Premium license, is your board in the upper right quadrant and within the size limits of your license?

Finally, which version of EAGLE are you using? 9.3.1 is the latest and I would recommend using that.

Best Regards,

You are right, I should have been more thorough in my description. My apologies. When I said the components won't transfer I mean that there is no footprint or anything that indicates there are any components TO place on the board. I am indeed using the latest version of EAGLE.
