      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi @Anonymous&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;Do you mean, that file created in Eagle's older version, doesn't want to open in Eagle of newer version? - from my experience, it has never been a problem (rather it's has some problems in other direction - older versions doesn't support some features, saved in files of newer version)&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Yep, as &lt;a href="https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/4848507"&gt;@odinrizhanin&lt;/a&gt; says, you can just open the file. It works with files from Eagle versions back to v5 - it may work with V4 files but I've got a whole slew of V4 libraries that crash V8 onward (and maybe V7) unless I open and re-save in V5 first. No problems with V6+ files that I've seen.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
