Failing to open .brd file

Hi,

I cannot open this file using EAGLE 7.4.0 software.

Can anyone help to open the file.

I receive the following message:

Error:

line 1, column 1: Start tag expected.

Are you sure this is an EAGLE file? It's a binary file which indicates if it was an EAGLE brd file it would be from an old version (v5 or earlier) but EAGLE v7 should be able to open it up if it were. From having a quick look in an editor, amongst all the binary data I did notice it says 'allv16' fairly early on. I'm wondering if it's a Cadence Allegro board file instead?
