Crane Dynamic block

Dear all,

I am currently working on creating dynamic blocks for a crawler crane that includes multiple boom lengths. However, I'm facing an issue with boom length adjustment are not functioning inclidng the hook block movement.

Has anyone else experienced this issue or could provide insight into what might be going wrong? I’d appreciate any tips or solutions for the hook block and boom adjust correctly in relation to each other.

I have repaired your block a little, so it should actually work.
With linked action parameters, only the action can be used, not the objects in other actions, otherwise it will be executed twice. I replaced your action parameter row with an Autocad path row and linked this again with the corresponding actions. The ref. parameter had no linked action and I deleted it.

Hi Mate,

I have been having a look over your block as I need to create something similar for a Kalbeco. however, I am struggling with the array action. I can see the thinking behind what you have done with the point Parameter acting as a trigger to tell AutoCAD when the webbing needs to start copying, I just can seem to get it right. Could you please have a look and maybe even give me an explanation on how you did it?

I'm not entirely sure what you're trying to create as a repeat.
Here's an example of how it can work:
Create a line for the row path.
Convert this to Construction so it's not visible in the finished block.
Create a path array for your object using this line.
Add the line to the Stretch action or create a new one.

Attached are your block with the suggested pattern and a sample block.

What do you expect what the requested help should include?
