I’ve been having a problem with a block that I made, especially with the Align command.

This is the block in question. I use it to label the cable types in my project. The issue is that it keeps moving around the line, and I want to stop it—specifically, to prevent it from flipping upside-down. Is this possible? If so, how?

Instead of "dancing" around the line, I want it to be only like the following image

Hi,

Since you have two grips aligns block:

You will get a different result depending on which grip you select.

You will get your exact position if you catch it from the bottom and your cursor - some how - come from the above of the line. It's sensitive grip and you have to be patient while selecting your new location.

see in below image the last attempt how when i came from below i get a negative result.

Click on below image to see what i mean ...

If you find that annoying (I sure do) it's better to use a point and a separate rotate action IMO.
You can also increase the APERTURE system variable (0-50, default is 10) to make it easier to work with.
