Dynamic Block with Attribute

I have created a new Viewtitle (callout) block that our firm is going to use in our new office standards.

see attached photo

the block is made up of (4) visibility states 1/8" , 1/4", 3/16" & 3/32" scales

all of the text is use is defined attributes -

I also have a linear parameter associated to the line under "FLOOR PLAN" - this parameter has an action (stretch) associated to it. This gives the user the ability to stretch the line to the lenght of the text for the view title.

I would like to have that line automaticly stretched to the lenght of entered text in the attribute, as opposed to using the linear parameter with stretch action.

How would i achive this taks ?

This is one of the frequently asked dynamic block questions. I do not believe there is any way within stock Autocad to have the length of a text string drive a dynamic parameter.

Hi,

you can do it by using (%%u) before your text and it will automatically stretch your line as long as your text (see attached image).
