Certain items (already selected via stretch action) won't stretch in my title block when using a lookup table.

Hi all,

I'm trying to create a dynamic title block that can be altered to suit a preferred paper size (A4, A3, A2 etc.). I've added my linear parameters for the paper height and width, created a list of dimensions for each, created a lookup parameter utilising a visibility parameter for each of the desired paper sizes. I've then come to create the stretch actions. When selecting items to stretch along my paper width, only part of my selection will stretch, leaving others in it's original location. Also, some of the lines extend from the original position to the stretch position, rather than move in their entirety.

Please can someone help me resolve this? (Images below to depict the issues at hand!) Any help will be much appreciated.

Unfortunately, I can't post the block due to my organisation's policy. I'd appreciate it if you could suggest some things for me to try though!

@a_charles2 The only thing I can suggest without the block is check that your stretch window isn't to wide.

What I would do to not invalidate your company policy is to copy the block to a totally blank drawing, then remove every bit of identifying text / image, so it's just the linework. Then post that block here.

If you're going to post pictures (which are most often of very little use) at least embed them in your message so the people you are petitioning for assistance don't have to waste their time loading the preview or downloading them.

Is the stretch window correctly surrounding the vertices you want stretched? Are all of the items that are not correctly stretching within the stretch action's selection set? Are all of the 'misbehaving objects lines or polylines?

Follow hwalker's advice to post a version of the misbehaving block that does not violate your organization's policies. Asking people to diagnose your issues from images is similar to asking your automotive mechanic to diagnose your engine's running issues from pictures. It's a fairly absurd waste of the time that people are freely donating to try to help you.

Thank you both for your advice. (I hadn't correctly placed my stretch window which was causing the issue).
