Arcs are not plotted in dynamic blocks wihtout lineweight option

Hi,

when I plot my drawings I usally don't use the "plot lineweight" Option because some will be just too big and obstruct the drawing. So I plot with a scale of usally 1:100 - 1:500 and some of my arcs from the dynamic blocks are not plotted. I use AutoCAD Lt 2020 and DWG to PDF.pc3 Printer. I attached an example block and the printed pdf result. The arc is printed if I explode the block.

Does anyone has an idea how to solve this issue?

Hi,

The results would be improved if the vector quality is increased while plotting🙂

But it cannot be completely eradicated and you would see the arc not joined when zoomed in really close, say at 6400% max zoom percentage in PDF viewer.

thanks for the Reply. I tried it but the result is the same. The arcs are not plotted. The strange Thing is, that the arcs are plotted if the block is exploded. You have any other idea of what it could be?

Hi,

Here is the side by side comparison of the layout and the plotted PDF and I don't see any differences between both and I see all the arcs beings plotted.

Can you more specific in telling which part of the drawing is not getting plotted, so that it would easier to give you the solution.

Hi,

I am suprised how it Looks on your screen. If I open the pdf I used Microsoft Edge and it looked like in the attached screenshot. Now I tried with another pdf Reader and everything Looks good.

So the Problem ist not with AutoCAD it is with Microsoft Edge.

So you open the PDF in a browser and not in PDF viewer?😄

Don't use the browser to open a PDF, use a PDF viewer😊
