Visibility levels

Hello

I was wondering if there are multiple levels of visibility to add to a dynamic block. I created a sample block with 4 visibilities, 2 of which just add on a hatch. I have thousands of these on a drawing and there are places where the hatch is on and others where its off but are various background colors. An additional level to pick from may facilitate things, meaning one drop down for color and an additional drop down for hatching. Not sure if this is a possibility but i'm hoping someone can help.

Search the forums for the phrase "Double Lookup". There are plenty of examples to point you in the right direction

You could add a couple user parameters and use a block properties table that branches to choose the visibility state. You choose hatch or no hatch, then branches to color if hatch is chosen.

I'm not too sure what other parameter to include. I see someone referenced lookup is that what you mean?

I tried double lookups but that only splits the visibility options. I'm not sure if what I want is possible - it would be one lookup with all the color visibilities and the i guess the second lookup with just a hatch or no hatch option on top of the pre-selected color. Any insight would be appreaciated.

Depending on how you want the selection process to work, either lookups/double lookups or a block properties table can work. I will post the block properties method in a followup post. Here is a screencast showing how to do it with lookups/double lookups:
