Hi and thanks for the reply

The scales are set this way because we work in meters....so 250/1000 = 4

Can you explain or see why only CCTV attribute text is working with the annotation scales

Hi all

PLEASE can someone help. I have a set of non annotative blocks that have a annotative attribute.

I want the attribute to be annotative so that the text will display at the given viewport scale with a paper space height of 2.0.

I've attached a sample dwg which has four viewports at scale 500, 250, 200 & 100 with the blocks showing in each viewport

I have added these scales to the annotative scale list in the properties (see jpg attachment).

Please can someone point out where I am going wrong and why the attribute is not displaying correctly

Why are your scales referenced like they are (see the image below)?

1 paper unit is physically measured on a piece of paper so for example your 1:250 scale should be 1 paper unit = 250 drawing units.

Your CCTV block is working fine you just need to reinsert it into the drawing to see the CCTV text appear in all 4 viewports

EDIT: I would also reset all those scales to what they should be using the command -scalelistedit and then R for reset

I added the 1:1 scale to the CCTV text. Then changed the scale in the block to 1:1 and then reinserted the block and the text appears in all 4 viewports. I suggest you do the same to all your blocks.
