Is this the only free option for dwf viewing on pure mac os?

Seems that even autocad for mac doesn't read dwf.

AutoCADWS for MAC is free as a DWG viewer, markup, and editor: grab it from the Apple Store.

But free and low cost PDF markup are very prevalent now, plus AutoCAD can attach PDFs, IMHO DWF's use is fading.

I guess you can't measure on pdf and they do weight a little more than dwf, IMHO.

Added to this, on our LA it's mandatory that all projects are submitted on digitally signed dwf, which makes it of need for me.

Any more options for mac? Isn't it stupid that there is a free app for iOS devices and none for OSx?

I don't think it can open .dwf. It didn't for me. So what is the point of .dwf files?

With Autocad 2015 Mac is there any way to publish to dwf? The only option i get is PDF.

"the viability of committing to DWF"? Its simple! Here in Portugal, and many other places (LA, as said by Iakaox), construction permits must be submited with signed dwfs! When architects want to share drawings with clients, dwf is the right format. It's possible to measure, turn on/off layers and so on. For contractors dwf is fundamental to take measures, areas, etc.

What's up with Autodesk?! Get real!

Ican´t believe that there´s no coverter DWG to DWF for Autodesk MAC users????

It´s incredible, wu in Portugal have to convert all the drawings into DWF, to the autorities apreciate our work , and we don´t have the tolls to do it !!!

I have to go to a friend in a PC to convert my drawings. they do withe a printer coverter, so simply as that. i'm embaraced with this software supplier!

Does anybody have a solution ??

In Portugal we have to convert it if you wan´t to show your work to others.

Autodesk 360(cloud) worked perfectly to preview the file if you upload an .dwfx file which I did. (first link)

This helped me so much because I just bought a Mac an was really worried about not being able to see this kind of files. THNKS !!!

to preview as previously said works with the Autodesk drive. but to plot it, it is impossible to do it
