Clarification as requested - 2/14/2025: Any feedback in this forum thread that does not directly say that a feedback form has been submitted, and even some that does, is being captured and logged for the team to look into. We may not respond directly to each post but we will add a "Like" to the post to indicate that we have seen and logged it. If we have anything meaningful that we can add at the moment, we will reply with that. If we do not reply, it means that we simply don't have anything to add to that request at the time. We are adding links to the posts that we submit, and giving details on which individual post the team should look at, as well as including any images you share. We do not have a way to add videos to the feedback form, but these are still welcome and appreciated, and we make a note of it on the form when we submit it so the team knows to look for the video. Hello Community!

As you can see from this recent blog post on our Autodesk Community Blog, the Autodesk Community Forums will soon be getting a new look and feel. This new look is part of our efforts to modernize the community and place key resources where you can more easily find them.

Some of you have had an early look at these updates during our recent A/B testing across the community. We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who shared their feedback during this phase. Your insights and comments have been instrumental in refining this design. Here are some of the changes you will see:

Updated Forums experience: Enhanced navigation, optimized mobile experience, new threaded posts and the ability to upvote content.

Recommended content: Explore new content sections featuring suggested blog posts, events, and additional resources tailored to your interests.

Recognition for top contributors: Visual recognition to help you get to know the most active members in the community.

Changes based on your A/B test feedback: We’ve made several updates based on your valuable feedback detailed in the Product News posts on our Autodesk Community Blog.

We would love to continue to hear your feedback on this redesign, so we have created a feedback form, which you can bookmark for future use, to report any issues or suggestions that you have.

Wow. So... this is it? Don't want to be rude, but it seems most of the valuable feedback given the past months is greatly ignored. If you want users to be generous with likes, you might want to review all that feedback a second time? And maybe implement some of the suggestions.

Hi Simon, and thanks for the honest feedback. Please know that in the many posts across these forums since the A/B test began, each and every comment (that we were aware of) was read, acknowledged and logged. All of that feedback was seen by the team doing this redesign and, while they could not take every suggestion. much of it did inform this design. Further feedback using the form we've provided will go through the same scrutiny and will be considered in future updates. We can't implement everything, just like the thousands of product enhancement Ideas in our forums,... but we do take them seriously. So keep the thoughts coming.

On the forum topic listing page, at the top right, you should see any pinned posts. The white space is something that we have been looking at reducing for a while, and hope to improve over time. I encourage you to share anything that you spot that isn't working, or any suggestions via the feedback form to our development team.

Well here we are. This is exactly what users predicted: this new release was rammed through according to what ADs internal teams wanted to make this site, while ignoring what users need this site to be for it to be a functional tool.

It is obvious the minimum amount of effort was put into listening to and executing user feedback of the A/B test before shoving out this new release. (This text box that I'm typing in is still buggy, for crying out loud! 😪 )

And now the response will be "please just give us more feedback".

Why? so you can continue to compile it to some black hole that does not ever see the light of day.

How much more of users' time are they expected to donate to this update project?

What an absolutely demoralizing experience to subject paying customers to. People are here to find solutions to problems with the software they paid for, they should not be subjected to a site that is this poorly executed and then asked to spend their time helping the developers bring it back up to the level of the site that it replaced.

Just look at the first dozen threads in the forum. The threads are not listed by PostDate of the latest post.
I have tried the two options available.
You obviously aren't familiar with the layout if you haven't seen the Options dropdown.
I'll leave it to you to provide the feedback to the 'team' . . . this is so basic, but it obviously has not been been checked before release.

It's been over a month since people complained about the huge amount of wasted space and Autodesk still chose to ignore the feedback. It's like everything else they do. Just like the Ideas forum where Autodesk ignores them.

It's clear that Autodesk just hates their users at this point. They deleted decades worth of user provided solutions to their software issues and completely shut out the users in doing that. They redesigned the forums, asked for feedback, then ignored the feedback and when people complained, they said to provide even more feedback. Why? So it can be ignored a second time?

While you guys were redesinging to this new forum page you never bothered to make the notification bell a little bit more clearer?

When getting a new notification, we still have this tiny little red dot to signal a new notification that you barely notice
