I am sure with some persistence, perseverance, and third party help you could. if this isn't for presentation board stuff. I would refer to the drop detail on plan, connect the the upstream pipe/plug , add a description/ expression / dummy pipe

Ahmed,

You could try the link below. This will lead you to a guided example within the Civil 3D help manual. If the link does not work , simply type "Drop Inlet" (I believe the american terminology for a back drop) into the search field within the civil 3D help.

https://help.autodesk.com/view/CIV3D/2020/ENU/?guid=GUID-5EE5F312-EAA0-45EF-AC5C-A8586C9D2F3E

I seem to recall the workflow appeared as a guidance note (possibly at AU, donkeys years ago) first and then in the C3D 2013 help files.

Anyway, what I will say is good luck.....as you enter into the unknown world that is "Part Builder"

Hope this helps

... Or see detail 3 on sheet 27 😂

kidding (kind of) good post. Have you made it? My experience with part builder has not been fantastic.

When that part gets plotted in profile do you get the assembly view? I made a utility offset box once and you never get the tray to show.
