Model space linework / text disappears upon opening

C3D 2019, Win 10. I have a dwg where all the linework and text in model space disappears when I reopen the dwg. The preview shows everything as there. There two data connections in the dwg, which I've used in other dwgs with no problems. This is simple linework and text with no alignments, C3D objects or labels. Same result when other users open.

It has happened 2 times now and it is the same for several dwg & bak backups I made after the 1st time.

I’ve tried turning on/off the hardware acceleration/ audit / deleting the data connections, -wblock, etc.

Layers say there is something on them but can’t select or see anything. I will post the dwg once cleared by management.

You say nothing of doing and audit or recover on the drawing. You could also try opening a blank drawing and then try to insert the drawing you are having issues with and if it opens do save as.

We just had a similar issue where all entities except text went missing. It turns out that Civil 3D crashed when the user was in Section Editor... The fix was to reopen the Section Editor as this somehow reset everything.
