If it is then your grid can be drawn using circles. First assign the appropriate State Plane and Zone, NAD83, US-feet. Draw one (1) circle with 250ft radius. Make the centerpoint of the circle (6575000, 2155000). Draw 2nd circle at (6575000, 2160000). Draw a 3rd at (6575000, 2165000). Double-check the accuracy of all centerpoints then draw a vertical line through all those centerpoints. You have just drawn your first vertical grid line. You may now draw horizontal lines through each circle's centerpoint. Your three horizontal lines combined with your vertical line, is the beginning of your grid. Expand the number of grid lines and make the lines longer.

Hello,.

Yes, that is the correct zone I need this grid to be nstead of a circle on the pt. with the coordinates I would

a +. (working with 1"=50' tic marks dont need to be huge but legiable))

After following your steps I can create a 4 x 4 array but after awhile it crashes and I louse it.

I have also tried numerous of time using the array comand and the same thing happens.

Maybe this can not be done for the whole ca83-11F area.

I give up.

Thanks for your time and help.

PS.

Hello,

I have been trying to create a grid array for the entire zone 2 nad83 for a while now using c3d 2016 and am unsuccessful getting it too work. Perhaps it is to large but even if I break it done to smaller pieces no luck.

I use these grids to overlay my topo map to show the x and y coordinates, north showing true north up with a vertical and horizontal distance of 5,000 feet between grid tics and the rows and columns can vary. The coordinates for the x and y are even numbers.

Can I have some help and see if this can work.

Thanks

Thanks for uploading your Practice.dwg. Zone 2 NAD 83 is vague. Way, way too vague.

NAD83? SPCA? UTM? Feet? Meters? Etc?

If you're really serious about finding a solution, set a coordinate system to practice.dwg.

Here's a way of doing what I believe your trying to accomplish using a point and point label style, not sure if it's what your looking for or not.... Its a fairly old video, but it applies still and is just one way to get to your goal.
