topic Layer States Renaming Issue in Civil 3D Forum

I had created a set of layer states and named them all. However, I realized later that a short name would be better since the dialog box doesn't stay expanded. I exported the layer states with the new names, however when import the layer states into a new drawing, the name that appears on the layer state is the old name. I haven't had any luck finding a solution to this online. Any assistance is much appreciated!

Thanks! Someone on my tech team was able to figure it out. You can open the las file in notepad. The name that was inside of there wasn't getting overwrote for some reason. Once I changed it there, it was good to go. Leaving the post here in case anyone else has this issue.
