It is impossible.

What is reason for needing to specify thickness for this generic subassembly?

There are many useful assemblies with shapes. However, using Subassembly Composer, you can easily remodel the LinkWidthSlope Subassembly and add additional features to it. If you would like to check it out, it is a very user-friendly tool.

For LinkWidthAndSlope subassembly, it seems to contain only a link ( ie: a line), can I use it to generate corridor generation?

Or do I have to somehow find "depth" subassemblies to add depth to the LinkWidthAndSlope? Is there anyway that I can "stack" extra subassemblies to add pavement thickness to it, so that the outcome of the corridor generation looks 3D?

Hi @soonhui, I agree with @Beka_Tchigladze. I should not do what you suggest. If you want depth/thickness you can try with another subassembly.

A GenericPavementStructure might give you what you are looking for. Plus, you can give it a try to Subassembly Composer, and create a new custom subassembly with the capabilities you mentioned.

Best regards!

Generic links are just that a generic line. You maybe ably to assign thickness via properties but this is calc only . Does not make a shape. The trazoid sub provides shape and thickness.

Hi @soonhui, that's correct. You can use this subassembly for the median, or any other location in your cross section, as long as you plan properly to ensure it is done correctly.

Yes, it reads superelevation from any available lanes in your alignment's superelevation design.

Best regards!
