Hi friends!

I have a problem to create a corridor intersection...

I create a alignment from the curb and using this subassembly.

Is the a gap to my FG and Corridor Surface.

Is there anything wrong with my assembly?

Thank in advance

Fabricio

It could be the profile of your curb-return alignment, or it could be the corridor surface building to a different datum (it could be building from links below top of grade). Personally, I stopped using links to build corridor surfaces and almost always define the surface using the feature line codes.

Is the dark blue line in the second image you posted the proposed grade profile of the curb-return?

I've already create many alignment on my project, all the same problem.

Its hard to say. I'm betting its the corridor surface definition, but I can only guess without a CAD file to examine.

Can you upload the CAD file, or some version of it?

Hi @F.Camargo!

Here's a proposed solution for it:

1) Create offset alignments from the alignments in the intersection. Remember to define the offset and the cross slope according to your project.
2) Use superimpose profile tool to display the profile from the offsets to your curb return profile view.

3) Modify your curb return profile using the offsets profiles as a guide. Here's a preliminary result:

Hope it helps!

What I can't figure out is that it does appear to me that your design profile for the curb return is correct and connects with the edge of travel way profiles (base on a surface profile of the main road). I am at a loss as to why the corridor jumps down right around the tangent points at the curb return (as seen in the surface profile).
