Point Code link label showing up twice

I have an assembly using the LinkWidthAndSlope subassembly and the label I have assigned to it keeps showing up twice in the section view. The location of the double label varies from view to view (some views it's close together others it's far apart).

I have checked every setting I can think of and I do not have overlapping subassemblies.

Any thoughts on what would be causing it?

Perhaps you are labeling a Link and a Corridor surface created using that link. Or you could have Code Set Style link labels assigned to specific links and to Top links.

Good thought.

I do have a surface created from the corridor using the ‘Top’ link. It is not labeled.

Then for the cross section I have a custom point code style that does not include the ‘Top’ link.

When I switch the style to the default AutoCAD ‘Basic’ I see that an additional point shows up in the middle of the link.

I have no idea what might be causing this but it looks like that is what is causing the additional label.

I am using the LinkWidthAndSlope subassembly.

Thoughts?

OK, for some reason last week it wasn't letting me remove the unwanted labels using the label properties thus my conundrum

Now it is.

@Margaret.Hinz-NeasonGSLKD, I'm assuming that your profile (green) line is derived from a surface, probably created from a corridor. If that is the case then the issue may be that you are cutting the section through the surface and it is picking up the additional point from the triangulation.

I get this when cutting sections in between my corridor links defined by the frequency. If your sample lines are at the same locations as your corridor links then it may be that the surface hasn't triangulated as expected in some locations and you may need to swap a few triangles to fix it.
