Hi Amir,
Welcome to the Autodesk Forums.
That's a good video. I like CloudCompare.
The latest version of ReCap has an Automatic Ground Classification tool which works very well. If you have filtered your point cloud to only have Ground(2) points, then use the "No Filter" option to bring them into Civil 3D.
Dave

Dear

I used the CloudCompare software to import my drone data as the point cloud data and exported them into the ReCap software to create the rcp file format and then attached them into the Civil 3D software to import my data and used the “create surface” to create a surface using the “kriging” method and also the “NoFilter” option to create another surface and followed the video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QIwZhloTKes

Is there any way that I directly import the csv or txt file into the Civil 3D and create a surface by the format of the “kriging” or “NoFilter” surface?

What is the difference for creating the “kriging” or “NoFilter” surface between using directly the csv or txt format and the rcp from ReCap software?

Could you please guide me in this process that what should I do?

I attached the files for more details.

Thanks for your guidance

I look forward to hearing from you

Sincerely

Thanks so much for your guidance. How could I just select the “Kriging” surface and convert it into a dxf file?

I deleted all other parts of my drawing and selected the “kriging” surface and save it as a dxf file, but something seems is wrong, because I could not open the saved dxf Civil 3D file in the Rhinoceros and Plaxis software and when I import them, the software does not show me any drawing and maybe it needs some more adjustments and preparation during creating the dxf file in the Civil 3D software.

What should I do to create a very good dxf file from the “kriging” surface to be able to be imported into the Rhinoceros and Plaxis software? Should I do more adjustment for that in the Civil 3D software?

Thanks for your response

I look forward to hearing from you

Sincerely

Amir Farshadfar

Amir,
I'm guessing DXF format can't hold Civil 3D objects, only AutoCAD objects. You'll need to extract points, triangles, or maybe 3D Faces before you can save as DXF.
Dave
