The Standardized Data Tool (SDT) Commands

I was very hyped when Autodesk published the tool to the public. Unfortunately, I try to install on Civil 3D 2024 & 2023, and when I try to click any button on the SDT ribbon, I get an "unknown command" error.

Does anyone try it successfully or have a solution to what I am facing?

Yes, have seen a few users experiencing the issue now, but have not seen the issue happen myself on any computers I've tested it on. It's happening due to the app needing to find the installed versions of AutoCAD Civil 3D in order to find the correct version of AcCoreConsole.exe that is uses on the backend. It seems, in some situations, that registry entries are not being fully cleaned up on uninstalls of previous versions of AutoCAD Civil 3D. Not sure of the reason, but that is causing the app to fail at launch as it cannot find the installation.

You'll need to look through the registry location and check the versions there and confirm if they are installed or not. If not, remove the registry entry and the app should run. For now, that seems to be the only solution.

Unfortunately, I didn't solve the problem using your fix (see screenshot).

I've tried:

Searching all registries for any key rather than R24.3 (AutoCAD 2024), and delete it;
Uninstalling SDT, deleting all relevant keys from registry editor, and reinstall it.

By the way, I try to install it on another computer which has a fresh first time C3D 2024 installation and it worked without any problems. Which proves that your theory is right, but we need a solution for computers that were having previous versions of C3D.
