topic Image frame issues in Civil 3D Forum

I've read through all of the previous posts about image frame issues and haven't been able to resolve my issue. I have some aerial images that keep showing inconsistent white borders when plotted. Sometimes thicker, sometimes thin, sometimes non existent. I've played around with IMAGEFRAME and FRAME settings endlessly with no luck. CAD file, images and example pdf can be downloaded at the link below (hopefully that's okay as there are more than 3 attachments). Any insight would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/mueohw8kw0r0qq58mcrws/AP60sra0B3lJOcS73AtV49s?rlkey=6nve51hudawk8pwztpjou1hp6&dl=0

Additionally to what you've mentioned there's DWFFRAME, PDFFRAME, DGNFRAME, XCLIPFRAME, and WIPEOUTFRAME.

If it's a DWF or PDF file then these may be more relevant, more info here:-

https://help.autodesk.com/view/ACD/2024/ENU/?guid=GUID-29BD70BB-07BF-41A2-8C2F-AD41C9402486

I was going to suggest using Raster Design, part of your Autodesk Subscription, to merge the images into one, eliminating the seams between them. Alas, your images cannot be edited due to having different x and y scales.

type iimerge (yes, two I's) or use the ribbon.

I inserted a couple of your images into a blank drawing and was able to merge them.

TFrames made them less visible but didn't completely eliminate them.

Interesting that the images would have different scales, they were all sourced from the same place at the same time. Will try this out. Thank you!

Hi Eric,
Add all the images to your drawing with MAPCONNECT and click "Combine into one layer".
Dave
