solved.

just had to go view tab -> model viewports panel-> viewport configuration command. I changed off of single and then right back to single, and it solved my issue.

Alignment Bug

Ran into a strange bug, and wondering if anyone has a way to resolve it.

<video-js data-video-id="6331413689112" data-account="6057940548001" data-player="default" data-embed="default" class="vjs-fluid" controls="" data-application-id="" style="width: 100%; height: 100%;"></video-js>
(view in My Videos)

The issue is that there is a scaled up version of the alignment that is glued to a certain place relative to the viewport. There are also 2 view cubes for some reason.

Redraw all and regen all did not help. Restarting C3D did not help.

Here it what I was doing immediately prior to the bug occuring:

1. I referenced a data shortcut alignment into the drawing. The same data shortcut was already in the drawing, but I needed another copy so I could promote one and keep the other dynamic.

2. I added a profile of the EG surface along the freshly promoted alignment.

3. I attempted using the drive feature. While in drive, I navigated around a little bit and ended up getting lost so i quit out of the tool.

4. After quitting out of the tool, this bug was present.

Anyone seen this before and know a good path forward?

-Camden

After playing a little bit more, I am convinced that the issue is the Drive feature.

Feel free to try and replicate the bug yourself using the attached dwg. This version of the dwg is drawn immediately prior to the occurrence of the bug.

Would love to know if this is year specific, machine specific, file specific, etc.

I am using C3D 2020.

-Camden
