LinkMulti - wrong behavier

Hello,

I want to make multiple shape but subassembly LinkMulti had a wrong behavior when i try to make a vertical link (dW=0,00 dZ=-0,10 - for exemple).

How can i fix this?

Hello @kina_86 do you refer at the 0.001 difference in vertically?? I don't know what the difference is due to, but what I can tell you is that the default assemblies sometimes have special configurations, to be used in particular cases, for certain processes the software does not allow verticality DIF:0, maybe that is the case,
I am also attaching a solution to your problem in the DWG file.

Hi guys! I was checking the file and the geometry seems ok in the second subassembly, except for the additional links it has:

Remember to edit the No of Links field to avoid that behavior. In this case you'd need only two links.

@RobertoJJoaquin is right about the difference of 1mm at the end of the line. I think is is to allow Civil 3D to process corridor surfaces. Remember the software does not process absolute-vertical links.

Thanks for response @RobertoJJoaquin and @ecfernandez .

My goal was to make some shapes linked together, in that case link vertical cannot be my solution because i will need more than one or two and will be difficult to manage all.

I created this topic because i believed is an error and subassembly help file won't explain us that 0.001 vertical difference.

If is not an error Autodesk please update this help file for others. @lim.wendy
