Grading Optimization installation issues

I downloaded and installed grading optimization, however it did not implement into my Civil 3D software. When I press grading optimization in Civil 3d, I still get a message telling me to install it. The only thing that happened when I installed it was that a file with multiple folders was created on my computer(screenshot of folders below). I am on an education free trial for civil 3d. I'm not sure if this is part of the issue. I would appreciate anyone's help.

That folder path looks a bit strange. Did you try and install GO at the default location?

I believe so. I logged into autodesk. Then All products>Civil 3D>scrolldown to GO>"try now">"Education">"educational community">scroll to GO once again>"get product">"download">proceed with messages until installment.

After this issue, I tried to delete the folder and download/install it again, but I got a message saying that GO is already installed to my computer.
