Added vertices to Feature lines

Hi does anyone know what's going on with the surface and the feature lines here? looking like my feature lines have too many vertices when inserted into the surface, but they don't show up in elevation editor. any help would be appreciated.

Hi @AVodanovich, Those look like supplemental points that were added when inserting your breaklines into your surface. Can you check what you have for your values:

Thanks for posting. I don't think you should un-check, but you could increase the values for the supplemental distance and mid-ordinate distance. Currently you have the Distance set to 1.00', which will add additional vertices along line segments at every 1.00'; for the mid-ordinate distance you have at 0.01', which is the max distance for precision along arc segments:

I usually leave the Distance to default, which I think is at 100', but I like to keep my mid-ordinate fairly low, depending on the size of my project. Play around and do some testing to see what values works best for your project. Keep in mind the smaller the values, the more points you get.
