using .NET code to change base/comparison surface from volume surface

Hi,

There are already a lot of topics about changing the base or comparison surface from a volume surface, using the workaround to create 2 dummy surfaces for the volumesurf, and paste the source data in those dummies.

But then i encountered this old post from @Jeff_M that wrote a .NET code to replace breakline sets:

That got me thinking. Could that .NET file be altered so you could replace the base, or comparison surface from a volume surf that's already there?

We use a lot of volume surfaces from datashortcuts and it's tedious to always create 2 dummy just in case you'd want to change 1 surface later on. And since it's datashortcuts you can't paste your new data in that base. So i hope that some .NET code could fix this 🙂

I doubt it is possible purely on the basis that if it were it would have been done by now...!!!
