Do the side slope gradings as separate surfaces and allow them to overlap. Then, use Minimum Distance Between Surfaces to find the intersection between the overlapping surfaces. Next use the plotted line to add an outer boundary to each surface. Finally, create a Compiled surface and paste the two surfaces into it.

Hi,
I am trying to create the side slope or Daylight in gore area between Main Road and Exit Ramp. I did this with corridor daylight but the side slopes are overlapping each other. The Grading tool works perfectly in such areas, but I also have to apply condition for benching where fill height is greater than 5 m. I think this cannot be achieved with grading tool, or may be I am missing something. There is the same problem where loop and ramp are too close that there side slope is overlapping. When I use grading tool the side slopes merge perfectly, but benching cannot be done. If I use daylight in corridor the side slopes overlap. Can anyone help me here on how to resolve this issue?
