Welcome to forums! (Usually someone who's been around longer and is more helpful than me says that, but I'm happy to.)

I spent a few minutes trying to break something by freezing layers in viewports and couldn't do it. And I don't remember this happening to me ever. I wonder what release of C3D you're using and what service pack? And of course if you posted a drawing you're having the problem with someone would surely be able to pinpoint the problem.

Hello,

I have been having a problem recently using the Vpfreeze command in some of my viewports. I can make other edits in the viewport however changing the layers with vpfreeze causes a crash

This problem usually happens to all the viewports in a layout while other layouts don't have this problem.

The only thing that has worked so far is deleting the problematic viewports and recreating them.

Any advice would be appreciated
