Ok so we used the expression for the alignment above but when we create the profile the stationing starts at 0+00. How do we add the same or create the same expression so it matches?

You used an Expression on the alignment stationing? You can just set the starting station in the alignment properties. You might have a good reason, but I want to hear it before I believe you're on the right track by using an Expression.

The simple fix for the alignment stationing is to use an expression but expressions aren't available for profile styles or labelling. I think the right way to go it to alter the stationing with a station equation and then use Raw Station in all the styles and labelling.

see --> https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/civil-3d-forum/alignment-stationing/td-p/12681279

I changed the start station to 10+00 and profile shows the entire length. See attached file, isn't that what you want?

It was my understanding that they wanted the stationing to start at 10+00 and then have the stationing increment from that point at a 30 unit interval.

You can use an expression in profile labeling just like you do in alignment. The label is not under "Profile View" but under "Profile". Enter the expression and create the label and apply just like an alignment.

If you want the label at the top or bottom of the Profile view, set the label 's anchor point to 'Anchor Station Extension' then set 'Dimension Anchor Option' (in the properties palette) to "Graph View Top" or Graph View Bottom" and 'Dimension Anchor Value' to "0". Any adjustment to placement of the label should be done in the style, not the properties palette.
