How to cut/ merge to different Subassemblies ?

Hi Colleagues,

How to assemble 2 different corridors. In this case, it is a stone setting and an excavation that must be assembled. A colleague mentioned that it should be done with "Intersection" Is there anyone who can help ?

You can merge the interface of two corridors using targeted subassemblies. You will need to line, feature line or alignment & profile at the interface between the two to target. You may want to target both assemblies. After you have the target go to the parameters tab and find the target button for the assembly region you want target. Set the links targets for the width and elevation as appropriate, then update the corridor.

With out seeing your assemblies and probably you plan and profile, it's difficult to give precise instructions. If you can attach the drawing I, or someone else, will be able to give much information.

a lot of times, what I'll do in a situation like this, is place a feature line at the last good known frequency of each corridor, and one at the joint line between them, and then create a little micro surface that can be pasted over the corridor surfaces to "clean that up". It may not be the best method for modeling, but it definitely is easier in some cases than trying to get a corridor to miter correctly.
