topic Two different point styles in one drawing? in Civil 3D Forum

Basically I have two sets of point files in .gml format and I want to bring them in as assign them different point styles. Is there a way to do this or is it the case that with points you can only apply one point style using the PTYPE command?

You can apply as many different styles as you wish, you can either do this before or after you bring in the points;

to do it before you need to change the default style that it comes in as on the settings tab of toolspace

to do it after go to point group properties > information > point style

PTYPE is for vanilla Auto CAD points rather than civil 3D cogo points.
