Creating expression for cross slope

HI..

Can any one help me out in creating Expression for section Code set style. I want the slope pattern on the cross section as 1:1 not 1: 100. since these two are in one code style. (Picture below)

Hi @chan230984,

I don't think you need expression for this. Just find which code set style to amend then find the link code being used and which label style is assigned, edit it and just decide if you like format to be run:rise or rise:run then change precision to be 1.00 instead of 0.01 and that should give you what you want.

See this <thread link> As a guide and check out message 6 for sample image how to amend the label style for link code.

i format to be run:rise or rise:run then change precision to be 1.00 instead of 0.01

but the Left has change 1:1 as it should be 1: 0.75.

Hi @chan230984,

Ok now yes I agree you need an expression. I though you want both to show as whole number. But if you want to show 2 precision and 0 precision. You can make something like this. Just decide if you like Rise:Run or Run:Rise. I just made a sample for Rise:Run similar to your image above. Please keep in mind I remove the negative sign and made your grade absolute value so it will always show positive grade value in this example.

Please use the following formula:

IF((ROUND(({Link Grade}-TRUNC({Link Grade}))*100)/100=1)+(ROUND(({Link Grade}-TRUNC({Link Grade}))*100)/100=0),-1,ABS({Link Grade}))

NewGradeTrunc0P
IF((ROUND(({Link Grade}-TRUNC({Link Grade}))*100)/100=1)+(ROUND(({Link Grade}-TRUNC({Link Grade}))*100)/100=0),ABS({Link Grade}),-1)
