How to calculate advances in earthworks

Hello.
I have a EG and a FG. The FG comes from a corridor that was created from assemblies.

I need to calculate each month what are the advances in cut and fill, so my company can get paid for the advance.

I was thinking of creating a custom assembly for fill and use what was measured in the alignment axis as the profile, but the width is variable dependent to the height.

I also though of creating a surface from surveying points, and create a volume surface with the EG, but I do not want to sum to fill if the sections are outside the corridor.

Is there a best way to calculate partial advances in fill?

Are you calculating how much cut and fill was actually constructed for the month? What we call an As-built in our area. Then you want to compare that back to previous As-builts or just show this section? Can you post a couple of screenshots so we can get a better idea what you're asking?

Yes

Compare that back to previous As-builts.

If you want to keep it simple you could simply limit the original earthwork calc with surface borders and stations for each months progress. This would of course not work if you needed detailed calcs including current excavations, and any plan deviations.
