topic Compute material: no shape area fill when using composite volume method in Civil 3D Forum

When computing a cut or fill material using the composite volume method, I cant get the shape area to fill in section views.

The shape is displayed correctly when using average end area or prismoidal method, but not with the composite volume method. however, The volume is calculated correctly in the volume report table with composite volume.

For my needs, I must use the composite volume method and I would like to visualize it in section view.

I am using surfaces, not corridors.

I use solid fill patterns that show correctly with the other methods.

the sample lignes extend further then the compare surface.

C3d 2019

You didn't mention your version, but I can confirm the misbehavior in Civil 3D 2020.
