It has a different of 0.5 feet.

Hello,

I have an issue in pipe network profile as it is not matching the same level as alignment, in profile its is giving some offset and showing the drainage structure below the alignment. see the picture for better understanding,

Does the pipe network fall exactly on the alignment?

The profile will show the ground at the alignment so the structure rims will appear to be shown above or below even though they are on the surface. Your image shows the insertion surface elevation and insertion rim elevation both as 774.66 and Automatic Surface Adjustment is enabled so it seems to be correct.

ID the surface at the structure to see if it matches.

Hope this helps.

I had another look at your image and it shows Structure Offset as 19'

Dear Kumar,

What I understood is that your manhole is located not on the pgl of road, but there is an offset from the pgl line, and hence there is a cross slope to be calculated from the road alignment line.

If you have a top surface, then need to select that surface while creating a pipe network, so that the structure cover will exactly on that surface levels. If you wanted to show pipe network profile, not on the road, then its better to create alignment from network and then create profile.

Regards

Is your reference surface 12-STREET-03 created from your corridor (top surface)? Sounds like it is a datum surface.

In the Structure Properties window you can override the rim elevation by entering 0.5 in the Surface Adjustment Value

Hi,

If it is your corridor surface (top links) then you shouldn't have to adjust anything.

I don't believe there are any rules to adjust this. An expression can be used in the structure label style (e.g. {Surface Elevation at Insertion Point} +.5) although it won't physically move the rim.
