Questions About Civil 3D Tables

I'm trying to make full use of Civil 3D at the firm I work for and move everyone in a direction of using Civil 3D to its fullest. One of the most tedious and time-consuming parts of my drafting process is having to manually update tables for every project. Some tables I just leave as-is on every project and figure people can ignore whatever doesn't appear to be on their survey, but I hate doing that and would love to clean things up and only included what's actually in that specific project. in the tables/legends. It's just not realistic to manually change them on every job with the quantity of work I'm having to put out. So....

How can I have more manual control over the Civil 3D tables? I can't find anything that allows me to manually set or adjust the vertical and horizontal padding of cells in the table settings, and my company uses much smaller padding than that of a Civil 3D table. I'm trying to push my company in a more automated, dynamic process (i.e., making use of the many valuable features Civil 3D has to offer), but every time I make progress in one area, I'm hit with another area where I get pushback because we can't make the Civil 3D stuff look fully like our standard stuff.

Is there a way to create a linetype table (legend) in Civil 3D? Ideally something where you just select the linetypes you want included and it will either automatically pull the description given to that linetype or the description can be manually adjusted when necessary. I haven't found any way to do something like this, but it is definitely a plausible feature for Civil 3D and wouldn't be so different from existing features, if there's not currently a way to do it.

Is it possible to create a symbol table (legend) in Civil 3D? Maybe something where the table can be created, populated with your blocks and their descriptions, and could then be edited (by manually removing and/or adding rows) as necessary to meet the needs of the current drawing and the blocks therein.

Same questions for something like hatch patterns.

I don't believe there are ways to do any of these, but I thought it's worth asking. They definitely seem like features/integrations that are very similar to others Civil 3D already contains, so I don't believe they're out of the realm of possibility for the software (or Autodesk) by any means.

Thanks in advance for any help you can be!

As far as i am aware the row & column sizes are directly related to the Text height's. as per my image bellow. i had a look and there is no manual way to edit the row or column sizes. With Regards to the Legends there is no auto method to creating them unfortunately.

Actually, you can manually define the width of the columns by clicking the "Automatic" square in the column width row. That can be useful if you want uniform widths across the columns. The row height, however, is tied to the text height.

Thanks for the suggestion! I do prefer sticking to the built-in features of Civil 3D as often as possible, but I'll definitely take a look at these and consider using them while Civil 3D lacks the built-in capabilities!
