It seems to be limited to simple expressions. It would be nice if it was an alternative for Python, but that is not the case.

who told you that?

Dynamic CSharp Interpreter package allows you to write C# code and using CSharpScript.FromString Node to compile and run, and the magic happens by the power of Roslyn .

I have searched for this package online but apparently I have visited a wrong page. The information I read there was not about your mentioned package. My apologies for the inconvenience. I will try the package first before giving my opinion 🙂

Good morning @essam-salah. I think maybe I didn't ask the right question, what I would need was to execute a function that was developed in dynamo through c#.

You mean: you want to write a program in C# that executes a Dynamo function?

If that is the case, you can create your own Dynamo nodes in any .NET language. These nodes only run inside Dynamo and are able to execute other Dynamo functions as well.

In my book 'Dynamo for Civil 3D' I wrote a chapter about programming in .NET for Dynamo.

If you want to create a plugin or stand-alone application, you can't execute Dynamo functions as there is no Dynamo environment available.
