Importing and exporting Civil 3d Styles

I have a drawing that does not have any styles but have styles created in a template is there a way to create\and or export a style library and import them into and existing drawing?

Sure! Different options:

Drag and drop 1 at a time
Start a new drawing from your template and insert your drawing to it.
Start a new drawing, save. Insert that new drawing into the existing
drawing.
Get SincPacC3D for 2010 or 2011. Use the Import or Export styles to copy
All, or just selected styles, from one to another.

Hello Scott.Stevenson@tetratech.com,
You can copy them over one at a time by opening both your template and the
file you want to put the styles into.

Tile both files so you can see them then make the template the active file.

Just drag the style from the ToolSpace>Settings tab and drop on your new
file.

Another way is the EE ProPack is now free which allows you to bulk import
and export styles.

I was looking for a add-on software I can use specifically for style management something that is user friendly

drag and drop and insert commands are time consuming especially with large drawing files my software crashes most of the time during these processes

Most of the third party software products won't work with Civil 3D 2008 since the API wasn't developed enough to get a good functionality. If you are using Civil 3D 2010, get the newer version of CMI Standard Manager installed on your computer. The product is available to you if you ask nicely, though you may find resistance. You can find the install files on the network. If you have any additional questions look me up in the company directory.
