Pay Items - Civil 3D 2012

I've been tasked with writing some custom quantiies applications in Civil 3D 2012.

Starting with this example as a template

and using "AeccUiQTOEntityPayItemData" as the registered application name I can select the required objects and read the XData to get the pay item ID's.

My current stumbling block is how to translate that pay item ID to the description and other data obtained from the .csv file. I have searched for api methods to get this information directly, as well as properties that store the path to the .csv file so I can open and parse the pay item file to obtain the information.

So far I've come up empty.

Hi,

In 2014 .NET API Reference document I see QTOUtility class and QTOUtility.GetPayItemIds() method which gets a string collection of pay items ids for the specified object. I don't see any API exposed to get the description and other data. I believe these are not exposed yet. Do you see the description and other data in UI tools ? Could you grab a screenshot and post it for me to understand what are these. I can then take a look to see if there is any workaround to get it.
