Can mpedit be added as a button on a toolbar?

Can the command mpedit be added as a button on a toolbar and if so how?

Check the CUI command to edit the interface of AutoCAD Civil 3D. There you can create a new ribbon/toolbar button that will run this command (at the macro field, add the command name).

I am using 2015 Civil 3D. cui>search Command list and type in mpedit and
it is not found? If it is a command why is it not in the command list?
Not sure what you mean by macro field.

It's not exactly a command that loads from a DLL which is why you can't find it in CUI. It's loading from a lisp file, but you can still configure it to a ribbon button, toolbar button, or context menu.

In CUI, do the following:

Right-click on the Toolbars branch in the customization file and create a toolbar where you choose to store this button. I have a customization file called "Cyndy" where I keep my custom configurations. Makes it easier to migrate it to other versions.
Insert any command on that toolbar.
Edit the Button Properties on the right:
Rename the resulting button "MPEdit".
Edit the description.
Edit the Command Display Name.
Edit the Macro to read: ^C^C_mpedit.
After closing CUI, look for the little toolbar. It will be floating somewhere on your main screen.
