Given that the profile grid is at even spacing, and the chainage leading up to 0+146 are evenly spaced, then you have 0+146, then 0+160 with the distance on the band between 0+140 and 0+160 (a difference of 20) being twice the distance along the band between 0+120 and 0+140, and all previous band labels, I would say that the band is indead being stretched, or the grid is being compressed.

You can select the excess band labels at the end of the bands and delete them by holding down the control key and left clicking on each excess label. Once you have selected all the band labels you want to delete, press the delete key.

If you reconstruct the profile manually, you will see that the alignment of the pvi band labels with the pvis and maintain an even grid spacing and band label that align is not possible without something being tweaked to fit.

Either the PVI band labels are placed then the grid and band label spacing adjusted around them, or the profile is stretched to suit the label locations.

You can achieve this by using station equations.

You can add station equations to the alignment and then have them show in the bands on the profile views.

Here is a demo profile view with additional stations inserted using station equations.

Takes a bit of fiddling to get the offset values correct for the hidden lines.

I have left the colours so you can see the lines that are being drawn in the bands. You can modify the colours in the band styles to make them not stand out. For the attached drawing you would set the line in the major label and station equation label to blue and the dragged state leader colour to blue as well (this is the colour control for the jogged label lines at the top of the band)

As your question is on a different subject you should really start a new thred rather than add your question to the end of another thread. This allows people searching for information on alignment labels to find the thread on its own rather than within a thread about profile view band labels.

In answer to your question, you need to add a Station Equation Label Style to your alignment.

- Select your alignment

- Right click and select Edit Alignment Labels

- In the Alignment Labels dialogue, change the Type: drop down to Station Equations

- Select a Station Equation Label Style from the drop down to the right of the Type: drop down

- Then click the Add>> button to add the label style to the Alignment Labels collection

- Click the Ok button and the Station Equations should be labeled on the alignment.

You might need to modify the Station Equation Label Style to match your other label, or create a new one.

The other advantage to others when you create a new seperate thread, an answer that solves your problem can be marked as correct allowing easier searching for solved problems.
