Supress the pressure BC at you intlet and only keep the flow rate BC. You can not have both.

2. Add more mesh on your aluminium duct

3. extend your outlet toward where the pressure is applied (the length should be 10 time the diameter) it will avoid recirculation. You should have a long cylinder leaving your model.

4. If you want to consider heat transfert dont forget to assign a initial temperature otherwise uncheck heat transfert. it will solve the solution faster.

In the other thread i said ''the boundary condition should be outside the model''. If you want to work with your original design you can suppress your duct and add a flow rate on ''the surface recently created''. This way your BC will be outside the model. By doing this you will not allowed to simulate the heat transfered to the duct (the internal part is supress)

Hope it helps
Fred

I am Autodesk CFD bargainer , i studied the base skills as well as the tutorials .

While trying to model duct from outside the from to inside, the output does not show in flow inside the duct .

please correct my steps please as show in below pictures .

find also the attached model(CFZ file )

model duct in Revit .

export the model in Sat format .

void fill for the exhaust point .

Assigned materials .

the duct material ( AL ) , also I noted the duct become many parts.

Assigned Boundary condition for supply and exhaust .

But no flow in the room

<span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper
