program will not open, splash screen opens then closes

I have CFD 2019. Let me get these questions out of the way first, I have an EDU license, I installed through the browser not with some mysterious autodesk downloader which I can't seem to be able to find anywhere, There is no area to enter a license key or anything. So basically I open the program and the splash screen appears like it should and then it closes and nothing happens. I have reinstalled more than 5 times on multiple hard drives and still the same thing happens.

I know this issue has been resolved by many before, accepted solutions should still be available on the forum. Good luck with this.

well whatever the problem was, its fixed with the latest version I just installed. weird.
